Third age care
Retirement can bring a time for leisure activities, travel opportunities, and new interests. It can also bring aches, pains, and stiffness. This is where our training and advice can really help you.
As we get older the body changes and loses some of its elasticity and ability to adapt. Also, due to postural changes and the accumulation of problems through our lives. Aches and pains are therefore more common.
The onset of health issues such as high blood pressure, digestive and circulatory disorders and arthritis have all begun to have a noticeable effect on the body’s energy and ability to perform.
Many grandparents also help working parents by caring for their grandchildren – a pleasure for many, but also a strain on the more mature body. The quality of life is especially important for this age group. Especially, when there are increasing concerns about loss of independence and mobility, so advice is often sought.
Keeping healthy
Taking care of one’s self with the right advice and treatment can help make you much more comfortable. Whilst arthritis may rear its ugly head, it is how we deal with it on a day to day basis that counts.
We can help greatly during this time. After a discussion with you and a full assessment may be able to offer treatment and advice to help improve mobility, circulation and general function. As a result, this may help reduce joint stiffness so that you can enjoy a full and active life in retirement.

The treatment is usually very gentle and aims to maintain and improve general mobility. This will help prevent further injury. It can also help a great deal with some of those nagging aches and pains.
Dietary advice may be given and supplements recommended to help maintain healthy bones, joints muscles. This may all to help relieve pain and stiffness.
